If you know me at all, you know I don’t spend a lot of money on jewelry (minus my watches) because I will most likely loose it. I am that irresponsible jewelry owner who takes her jewelry off anywhere and everywhere and somehow, it goes missing. I am convinced they just get up and walk away!
That being said, I still like to have fashionable pieces but I tend to not spend a lot of money on them just in case they do decide to “get up and walk away”. That’s why I get so excited when high-end designers collaborate with everyday affordable brands to create a stylish alternative. One new collaboration that I am super excited about is Eva Jeanbart-Lorenzotti’s jewelry collaboration with New York and Company, which you can find here. Eva is the founder of the high-end retailer site vivre.com and with the help of NY&C, has made it easy for all of us to look great, even on a budget!
I had the pleasure of visiting my very dear friends in D.C. this weekend and one thing I love to do when I’m visiting is hit Eastern Market. They have such talented artist displaying their work but one of the best finds at Eastern Market is the jewelry. They have something available for every budget, which you know I love! I was able to find 3 pairs of really great earrings and the best part, they were all on sale. I spent a whopping total of $20! Now that is my kind of Saturday! Thanks Molly and Megan for hanging with me while I made my way through the clearance section 🙂
They also have some really stunning one of a kind pieces, but be ready because you will be spending a lot more than $20!
Sorry ladies, not the Brad Pitt kind of studly (womp, womp) but it is the next best thing, jewelry!
I love studs because they really allow you to express your personality more than any other type of earring. Sure, hoops or chandelier earrings may be a statement piece because of their size but studs are a statement piece because they can actually make a statement!
One of my favorite place to find unique studs is Etsy. They have to most adorable, delicate pieces that any girl would love. Best of all, Etsy is totally affordable (which means you can just buy more stuff, right ladies?)
Here are a few of my current faves:

I love accessories but one thing I have never been great at is layering my necklaces. I always feel like I have too much or not enough, the lengths aren’t right and I just look like a hot mess! So, to help everybody with their layering process, here is an easy way to get that perfect layered look.
