With the Trick or Tweet Competition (how cute is that contest name?), we all have a chance to score a $150 gift card to Topshop! As we all know, social media has taken over the world and Topshop is using that to it’s advantage. In order to enter the competition, all you have to do is tweet (@topshop) or Instagram (Topshop) a picture of your Halloween costume or your favorite Halloween style tip with hashtag #trickortweet! The good people at Topshop will then select the best tweets to receive the gift cards. Trick or Tweet will be open for business October 26-31.
I can’t forget to talk about the reason they are doing this whole contest, can I? Trick or Tweet is the platform they are using to launch to spookily spectacular Halloween Collection which you can view here! Below are a couple of my favorite pieces.
DailyCandy has launched their free app, DailyCandy Scout, and it is now available for iPhone, iPad and iTouch users. Their app will allow the everyday customer to become a contributor. How great is that?
Also, if you haven’t had a chance to visit DailyCandy yet, I highly suggest you do. It is a great website that offers trend-setting ideas for all walks of life.

Louis Vuitton really knows how to make a girl blush and with their new collection of colored leather stamped Speedy’s, I think I might just be in love!
These will set you back a pretty penny ($2,370 to be exact) but you can’t put a price on style, right?!
A girl can always dream…
Come Spring 2013, all Kate Spade fans will have something to celebrate! The global lifestyle brand we all love so much has announced the online launch of it’s more affordable line, Kate Spade Saturday. I didn’t think I could love the weekend anymore than I do now but with the addition of Kate Spade Saturday’s, I think I just might!
The line will include everything from apparel to home decor and, hold on to your seats ladies, it is priced about 50% below it’s parent company, Kate Spade New York. Holla!
Expect to see the bright colors and adorable prints we are used to seeing from Kate Spade but with items geared more towards the 25-35 age range.
I have saved the best for last. Not only will the online store be offering super affordable pieces but they will apparently have a “customization station” where you can personalize your weekend bag to perfectly fit your personality.
I love Saturdays!
If you know me at all, you know I don’t spend a lot of money on jewelry (minus my watches) because I will most likely loose it. I am that irresponsible jewelry owner who takes her jewelry off anywhere and everywhere and somehow, it goes missing. I am convinced they just get up and walk away!
That being said, I still like to have fashionable pieces but I tend to not spend a lot of money on them just in case they do decide to “get up and walk away”. That’s why I get so excited when high-end designers collaborate with everyday affordable brands to create a stylish alternative. One new collaboration that I am super excited about is Eva Jeanbart-Lorenzotti’s jewelry collaboration with New York and Company, which you can find here. Eva is the founder of the high-end retailer site vivre.com and with the help of NY&C, has made it easy for all of us to look great, even on a budget!
Sorry ladies, not the Brad Pitt kind of studly (womp, womp) but it is the next best thing, jewelry!
I love studs because they really allow you to express your personality more than any other type of earring. Sure, hoops or chandelier earrings may be a statement piece because of their size but studs are a statement piece because they can actually make a statement!
One of my favorite place to find unique studs is Etsy. They have to most adorable, delicate pieces that any girl would love. Best of all, Etsy is totally affordable (which means you can just buy more stuff, right ladies?)
Here are a few of my current faves:

I love accessories but one thing I have never been great at is layering my necklaces. I always feel like I have too much or not enough, the lengths aren’t right and I just look like a hot mess! So, to help everybody with their layering process, here is an easy way to get that perfect layered look.
One of my favorite movies to this day is Clueless! I was 11 years old when it was released and I can remember the scene where Cher was in her mega-huge bedroom trying to figure out what to wear. Normal people typically open their closet door and that is that but not Cher! She had all of her clothes cataloged in a computer program that would tell her what matched and what didn’t AND she could also dress herself and see how that chosen outfit would look on her. Brilliant!!
Little did we know that 14 years later
The iPhone 5 was released last week and we can’t be caught walking the streets without the proper accessories! These are a few of my favorites so far, all found on Etsy!
