Brow Perfect!

Ladies, getting the perfect brow can sometimes be a lot of work! We have to shape them, trim them and then after we finally get the perfect look, we have to keep that all in tact. Phew, I am exhausted just thinking about it!

If you need help getting the perfect shape, it really is easy! All you have to do is follow the above chart and you have the perfect shape! The best tool to use to find your end points and arch location is a pencil. See, simple right?! Once you find the sweet spots, take an eyebrow pencil and mark the location. After that, grab some tweezers or wax and begin to shape your brow. Never remove more than two rows of hairs or else you may end up looking like the lady who draws on her eyebrows. Never cute!

If you don’t feel comfortable shaping your own brows, I would definitely go to a professional. Once they give you good shape, you will be able to maintain it from there.

Now that shaping your eyebrows is complete, they need to be trimmed. Use an eyebrow brush to comb your eyebrows upward and trim off just the ends. Once trimming is complete, brush the hairs back to their natural location. Some people like to trim their brows first and then shape them but I personally don’t find that one is better than the other. Sometimes I trim first, sometimes I shape first. Just depends on how I feel that day!

Now that our brows are so fresh, we can amp them up one more notch. For a more polished look, you need to fill your brows in. I prefer either and pencil or a powder. My favorite pencil is NYX Auto Eyebrow Pencil. I like the consistency of this pencil and it goes on easily. I also love that there is a built in comb. For a natural look, us small strokes to mimic actual hairs.

If you prefer a powder, I would go with Anastasia Beauty Express for Brows and Eyes. If you don’t know who Anastasia is, she is the QUEEN of eyebrows. She does all of the stars from Jennifer Lopez to Oprah Winfrey. This kit is also great for those with a less than perfect natural brow because it comes with 5 eyebrow stencils. Now you have no excuse to not have perfect eyebrows!
