Smells So Good!

Being able to wear yummy smelling perfumes is one of my favorite parts about being a girl! Have you ever wondered the best ways to apply it? Well, look no further! Here are the top 3 ways us ladies apply our smell goods…

1. Spray and Walk – This is a method used by many ladies and it is so simple. All you do is spray your chosen scent into the air and walk through! This method is great for those of you looking for a light mist of fragrance. If you want something a little heavier, all you have to do is repeat and you should be good to go!

2. Dab, Dab and Dab Again – I personally would not recommend using this method unless you have a roller ball applicator or something of that sort. If you use a spray bottle, it may come on too heavy and we all know that it is always easier too add and much more difficult to take away. If using a roller ball applicator, apply the perfume to all of your pressure points (behind the ears, on the neck, behind the knees, on the wrist). This will ensure your scent lasts all day.

3. Head Case – I use this trick often. Mostly because my favorite perfume of all time, Pink Sugar, has a formula specifically made as a hair perfume and it is lovely! I would only spritz your hair if you are wearing it down though. If you do it when you hair is in a bun, it kind of defeats the purpose! Think about how many times you move your hair throughout the day. If you spritz your hair with perfume, those around you will get a whiff every time. They can thank you later!

As much as we all like to think we are expert perfume applicators, sometimes we flub and apply too much so what do we do? Well, there is one simple trick that will cure that mistake. All you will need is a cotton ball and rubbing alcohol and wallah…no more smelling you soaked in a tub of perfume!
